Jackel Inc. Return Policy
For defective & non-defective products: we ask that credits/returns/defects be requested in writing. Send to fax number 574-256-6966. Include a clear description of the issue and the products involved, along with the PO number and ship date. If an RGA is issued it will be authorized by Jackel and the RGA number will be given in writing.
Restocking fees & terms: 25% fee will be charged and the customer is responsible for shipping charges. Returns will be honored within 30 days of order.
Standard products: These are structural foam basins & covers, inlet hubs, check valves and standard steel covers that have not been altered.
Special order items: stainless steel, diamond plate or aluminum covers or stainless steel hubs or flanges are non-refundable. (Standard aluminum hatch covers will be accepted.)
Custom built fiberglass basins & extensions: The returns on these items will be determined according to the size of the basin. Common size basins will be accepted and the 25% restocking fee will apply. Unique size basins and lay down basins (over 96 inches) will not be accepted. We will however try to move any of these items through our sales rep firms and other customers.
Custom built rail packages are non-refundable.
Stop Charges: We work hard and take a lot of pride in our lead-time and because of our commitment to ship your order as promised in some cases for fiberglass basins, extension and rail systems a STOP charge may be applied.
Freight Damage: Any damage incurred during shipping must be clearly marked on the bill of lading at delivery. Fax a copy of the marked bill of lading and packing slip identifying the item(s) damaged to 574-256-6966 so we can file a freight claim. If you fail to mark the bill of lading we cannot issue any claim.
Defective Items: Any reports of defective product will be reviewed and if the item is indeed defective we will either credit or replace the item as the customer chooses. We ask that customer submits in writing complete details of the product, date it was purchased (or PO number) and fax the information. We may or may not ask for the item to be returned.
